A: You can now book directly through our online booking system, or stop by the studio to schedule in person. Walk-ins are welcome when available, but appointments guarantee time with your preferred artist.
Q: Do you accept walk-in clients?
A: Yes! We welcome walk-ins when artists have availability. However, appointments are always recommended to guarantee your spot and preferred artist.
Q: Do I need to put down a deposit to schedule an appointment?
A: Yes, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your tattoo or piercing appointment. This ensures your spot with your chosen artist and helps us manage our schedule effectively.
Q: How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
A: Get a good night’s rest, stay hydrated, and eat a solid meal beforehand. Avoid alcohol or blood thinners 24 hours before your session. Dress comfortably and make sure the area being tattooed is easily accessible.
Q: Is there an age requirement for tattoos or piercings?
A: Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed or pierced at Royal Prevail. We require valid government-issued ID at the time of your appointment. No exceptions—this is for your safety and to comply with Ohio law.
Q: What’s your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
A: We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date with proper notice. Last-minute no-shows may forfeit deposits.
Q: Does getting a tattoo hurt?
A: Yes—but it’s manageable. Pain levels vary depending on placement, size, and your personal tolerance. Our artists are pros at helping you through the process, and we’ll make you as comfortable as possible.
Q: Can I bring someone with me?
A: Yes, but space is limited. One support person is fine, but we ask that they remain respectful of the artist’s workspace. No children or large groups, please.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and some artists may use payment apps. Tips are always appreciated and can be given in cash or digitally, depending on your artist.
Q: Do you do cover-ups or tattoo redesigns?
A: Absolutely. Our artists specialize in creative solutions—just bring in a photo of your current piece and we’ll consult on the best approach to rework or cover it.

A: Follow your artist’s aftercare instructions carefully. Generally, keep the tattoo clean and moisturized with our recommended aftercare products, avoid soaking it in water or direct sun, and don’t pick at scabs. Proper care helps your tattoo heal beautifully and keeps the colors vibrant.
